Harvest is almost over

We are reaching the end of the harvest 2010. There are only some Malbec and Bonarda grapes waiting to be picked, we are just a week away from the "End of Harvest BBQ".

This year has been different in a way that the grapes took more time to ripen, around two weeks more. In the other hand, this extra time in the vineyard, along with good weather and no rain, helped us to have wines with more concentration and complexity. So far is what we are appreciating in the wines that have already finished fermentation.

So far, the 2010 wines are going to be another good vintage to enjoy and keep in the cellar.

Montecepas Malbec

We have been awarded with a Silver Medal for our wine Montecepas Malbec 2007 in the contest of Vinandino 2009.  This contest is one of the most important in South America and it is approved by the IOV.
